just thought id start this because a lot of our young guns we seen last year will be fininishing there year here and getting called up!a place to keep track of players n movements!(call ups or send downs)

I seen talon agreed to terms with blake parlett-an  ahl defenseman who will add help to youth this year.

I think you will see brittain n ellis fighting it out in goal n development camp starts on the 17th!lets get this thing started.

Yes the Roster will be the biggest and interisting Question, with a lot of Veteran entering the Team. The spot to play getting smaller and smaller. And i see a lot of our young players in SA. What makes this Year one of the best Roster in a long Time.

Shore, Drew
Howden, Quinton
Grimaldi, Rocco

martindale

Weegar

Robak or Petrovic

Racine

Houser Brittain

Logan Shaw

Steven Hodges

so i hope for a better result then last Year, no matter that SA has a heck of a Division. The Results last two Years was not the Best. In 11-12 they reach Calder Cup Playoffs.

maybe one or another UFA will stay. But when you read all the names, you see the Result of the Roster. And still many more too come.

Zanon is an excellent veteran to have for young players. He is too slow for the NHL, but very good in anticipating plays and blocking shots. Gutsy guy on the ice.

I post it here new AHL rules, for next Season.

Besides 3-3 OT, the ‪#‎AHL‬ has implemented several other controversial rules that could make their way into the ‪#‎NHL‬ one day:
• Rule 20.4 (“Major Penalties”) — An automatic game misconduct will be applied to any player who has been assessed two major penalties for fighting or three major penalties for any infraction in the same game.
• Rule 9.6 (“Helmets”) — A player on the ice whose helmet comes off during play will be assessed a minor penalty unless he immediately (a) exits the playing surface or (B) puts the helmet back on with the chin strap properly fastened.
• Rule 85 (“Overtime”) — During the regular season, the sudden-death overtime period will be seven minutes (7:00) in length, preceded by a “dry scrape” of the entire ice surface.Teams will change ends at the start of overtime.Full playing strength will be 4-on-4 until the first whistle following three minutes of play (4:00 remaining), at which time full strength will be reduced to 3-on-3 for the duration of the overtime period. If the game is still tied following overtime, a winner will be determined by a three-player shootout.

this kosov we drafted in 2011 at left wing-he impressed me when I watched him play for Russia at the worlds a few years ago,and they say he had a good camp-would be nice to see him play for the rampage this year and maybe a call up as well if hes doing good-a big left winger who seems to score at all the other levels.dont know if he will  go back to Russia again but would love to see what he can do at our farm team!

Season Opener of the San Antonio Rampage at Home against the Iowa Wild.

Not the best Hockey they play maybe all of them a bit to nervous. A lot of PP on both Sides, but no team was able to Score.

The energy and stand your ground we saw yesterday on the Florida Panthers game, you also see this in SA. Maybe its the first step of getting the Team feeling together. Hope our Prospect find there chemistry.

1.Periode 0-0 12-6 shots for the Rampage.

2.Periode 2-2 17-7 shots for the Rampage

3.Periode 1-0 12-10 shots for the Wild.

Rampage won 3-2, it was not a pretty game the battle hard and won.

As a short note the Rampage get all there 2 Goal against on Wild PP. So there is  much more work to do on the PK unit.

Grimaldi make his first Point as a second assits, same counts to Trocheck and Petrovic make 2 Assist Points. Ellis hold 23 of 25 and look much better in the AHL. Aslong they dont meet the Rivals Stars and barons. :D

In the end Utica won 3-0 against SA. And they doesnt look to good. There was a kind of disadvantage, Utica played better then Rampage in this Game.

Late in the 3rd 5-4 for Rampage against th Oklahoma barons. And bad no one was able to show that classical Game. It is a total crazy Game. A short tipp SA PIM 31 by only 1 fight during the Game.
